Park City, UT--Sarah Hendrickson of the U.S. Visa Women’s Ski Jumping Team took second place at the final World Cup competition of the 2015 season. With jumps of 126.5 and 128.5 meters in the two rounds of competition on the Large Hill, Hendrickson scored an impressive 257.1 points. Rival Sara Takanashi of Japan won the competition with jumps of 128.0 and 127.0 meters and 263.8 points. Canadian Taylor Henrich rounded out the podium in third place.

Park City, UT—Nita Englund of the U.S. Visa Women’s Ski Jumping Team took second place at the 11th World Cup competition in Rasnov, Romania on Sunday, February 8, 2015 after a 12th place finish on Saturday in the 10th World Cup competition. Englund flew 94.0 meters, scoring 118.3 points to secure her podium on Sunday. Tara Geraghty-Moats also had a good day Sunday, jumping 93.0 meters and scoring 110.1 points to secure a 9th place finish. Sarah Hendrickson placed 14th with an 88.0 meter jump and 104.8 points. Sara Takanashi of Japan took first place with a 95.0 meter jump and 121.4 points.

Notodden, NOR – Sarah Hendrickson placed 4th and 5th in the first Continental Cup competition of the 2014/15 season. Under cloudy Norwegian skies, Hendrickson, 20, achieved jumps of 92.5 and 88.5 meters in her two jumps on Friday, December 12. She maintained this consistency and high performance on Saturday, December 13, with two jumps of 91.5 and 90 meters.

Lillehammer, NOR -- The U.S. Visa Women’s Ski Jumping Team had a very respectable showing today in  Lillehammer, Norway at the first World Cup competition of the 2014/15 season. Sarah Hendrickson of Park City, UT, the current World Champion, finished 9th by improving her first 89-meter jump with a strong second jump of 96.5 meters. Jessica Jerome, also of Park City, finished 11th, improving upon her first jump of 87 meters with a second jump of 92.5 meters.

LAKE PLACID, New York – Sarah Hendrickson showed why she is the world champion in women’s ski jumping by soaring to a first place finish in the US Ski Jumping Championships on Sunday, October 12, 2014. Hendrickson executed jumps of 92.0 and 97.5 meters, followed closely by U.S. Visa Women’s Ski Jumping team members Jessica Jerome, who jumped 92.5 and 96.0 meters, and Tara Geraghty-Moats, who jumped 89.5 and 96.5 meters. Nina Lussi placed fourth, while Nita Englund, who executed only the first jump, placed fifth.

Sarah Hendrickson Comes Back with Vengeance to Secure Podium Finishes at Continental Cup

TRONDHEIM, NORWAY – In her first event since the Sochi Olympics, Sarah Hendrickson, 20, secured second place finishes at the Continental Cup in Trondheim, Norway on both Saturday, September 27 and Sunday, September 28, 2014 with jumps of 92.5 and 100.5 meters respectively. Her team-mates on the USA Visa Women’s Ski Jumping Team also performed well in competition. On Saturday, Nita Englund came away with a ninth place finish, with Tara Geraghty-Moats and Nina Lussi finishing in 11th place and 13th place respectively. On Sunday, Englund improved her standing with a sixth-place finish, while Geraghty-Moats held steady at 11th place. Lussi finished in 18th place on Sunday.

Jerome wins 11th national title in Park City

PARK CITY, Utah  — Jessica Jerome demonstrated her world-class talent picking up her 11th national title on Sunday, Aug. 2 with a win in the large hill competition at the U.S. Ski Jumping Championships in Park City, Utah.

Nita Englund and Tara Geraghty-Moats soared to their first national championship spots with a 2nd and 3rd place respectively. The normal hill U.S. Championship will be held in October during the Flaming Leaves tournament in Lake Placid, NY.
